With an area of 100 hectares, this is the second largest zoo in the Czech Republic where up to 4,000 animals can be seen.
The zoological part is expanded by three botanical paths, which open the visitors to the hitherto inaccessible part of the zoo area and directly connect them with zoological expositions. There is also a safari, featuring 3 runs over an area of nearly 6 hectares. In addition, beak houses, bears, primate islands, boulders pavilions, aviaries of predatory birds and other birds can be seen. The most valuable animals are rare species of lemurs.
An interesting refinement of the zoo tour is the feeding of selected animal species during the main season.
