Planetarium Ostrava offers smart entertainment and education for visitors of all ages. Its uniqueness lies in modern technologies, which are used to display a perfect starry sky, to fly into space or as a spherical cinema. In addition, telescopes in the domes of observatories allow you to see natural objects of outer space with your own eyes.
Planetarium's programs and activities in seven different environments focus primarily on astronomy and other natural and technical sciences.
Planetarium is part of the Faculty of Mining and Geology of the VSB - Technical University of Ostrava.
