Unveiling the Effects of Quantitative and Sustainable Finance on Financial and Commodity Markets

The Finance Cluster at Africa Business School, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, in cooperation with VSB–Technical University of Ostrava and the EURO Working Group for Commodities and Financial Modeling (EWGCFM), is pleased to invite you to participate in the 71st EWGCFM Conference, which will take place at Africa Business School on May 22-24, 2025.

The EWGCFM was founded in September 1986 in Lisbon by Otto Loistl and Jaap Spronk. It focuses on financial models for decision-makers in finance and commodities and is a member of the EURO: the Association of European Operational Research Societies. The group provides a forum for information exchange, encourages research, and connects financial theory with practical application. With over 450 members and semi-annual meetings, it has become a well-established platform for scientific collaboration. The meetings typically attract between 50 and 100 attendees, including academic scholars, industry representatives, and experts.

Africa Business School

Africa Business School (ABS), established in 2016 with the aim of being the leading business school in Africa, specializing in research, advisory, and learning, is the business school of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P). UM6P is an institution oriented towards applied research and innovation, with a focus on Africa.
