Motivating Czechs to pursue a career in the EU institutions

Summary
The proposed project aims to identify the motivation and interest in the selection process for positions in EU institutions. The identification of these aspects will be carried out through in-depth semi-structured interviews with specific profiles of respondents (32 interviews in total). On the basis of these interviews, a set of question areas will be created, which will form a questionnaire for students of four university disciplines (VŠE and VŠB-TUO and possibly other universities); the aim is to obtain a sample of at least 200 respondents. The output of this part is to determine the level of awareness of career opportunities in the EU and to propose an appropriate form of information dissemination to the target groups. For the analysis of communication channels and their possible application in the Czech environment, research and forms of good and bad practices from other EU Member States will be used. The output will be a research report of about 40 pages (including the content and structure of websites with information about careers in EU institutions), a management summary (about 3 pages), and recommendations (about 2 pages).
